ACTION 8 UPDATE: More details released about Montgomery shooting that injured three people

ACTION 8 UPDATE: Montgomery police have now released more information about a shooting off of Atlanta Highway that left three people injured.

As Action 8 News has reported, the shooting was reported just after 5PM yesterday. Police were called to the 300 block of Kroy Drive, which is near North Burbank Drive.

Police found two juvenile females with non-life threatening gunshot wounds. In addition, a man was found near North Burbank Drive with a life-threatening gunshot wound.

Today, Montgomery police Lt. Tina McGriff told Action 8 News that a preliminary investigation has determined that the shooting stems from a single domestic violence incident involving all three people.

McGriff said the Montgomery Police Department is in contact with all parties involved, and there is no indication of any ongoing threat to the community. She said the investigation remains active, and additional details will be released as they become available.
