Mainly dry weather with high temperatures near 90° early this week
Sunday was another dry, sunny, and warm day across central and south Alabama. Morning lows were in the low to mid 60s in most locations, but afternoon temperatures soared into the low and even mid 90s in most locations. Sunday night looks mostly clear and mild with lows in the mid to upper 60s. Monday looks like another mainly dry fall day, with a partly to mostly sunny sky and high temperatures near 90°.
It looks like our weather remains mainly dry this week. However, a couple of brief, stray afternoon showers appear possible Tuesday and Wednesday at least. There may be a small chance for a few showers Thursday and Friday, but Sunday’s model runs trended drier for late this week. However, our rain chances may increase Sunday of next weekend into early next week. Meanwhile, temperatures may trend a bit cooler late this week.
