ACTION 8 UPDATE: Montgomery police launch homicide investigation following woman’s shooting death

Montgomery police have now identified the woman who was shot and killed near downtown, as a homicide investigation is launched.
As Action 8 News has reported, the shooting happened just before 7PM Friday, September 26, in the 500 block of Stone Street, which is near Interstate 85 not far from the Interstate 65 interchange.
The victim has been identified as 34-year-old Jasmine Chillous. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
