Dothan man killed in Troy shooting
The Pike County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that claimed the life of a Dothan man.
Pike County Sheriff Russell Thomas says it happened around 12:22 a.m. Sunday at Hideaways on Gardner Bassett Road.
Sheriff Thomas said there were about 350 people at the event center when shots were fired inside the building.
Once deputies arrived, they found a man in his early 20s outside of the door dead from a gunshot wound. Investigators have not released the identity of the victim.
