A few showers Wednesday; Drier, cooler, sunnier through Friday
Wednesday afternoon looks partly to mostly cloudy and warm with high temperatures in the mid to upper 80s. A few showers remain possible, mainly south of highway 80 and Interstate 85. With ongoing drought conditions in our area, we could use some rain. Unfortunately, it looks like many locations remain dry. For those that see rain, it may not be much or last very long. Wednesday night trends dry with lows in the mid to upper 60s.
The rest of the week trends drier, sunnier, and cooler. A cold front pushes through our area by the end of the week. That results in a mostly sunny sky and high temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s Friday. The weekend looks mostly sunny and dry too, with high temperatures in the low to mid 80s. Next week likely remains dry with abundant sunshine. Meanwhile, temperatures gradually warm back into the upper 80s by the end of the week.
