Cool nights, warm days, abundant sunshine Sunday into next week

Saturday was a pleasant fall day across central and south Alabama. There was somewhat of a chill in the air early in the morning, with low temperatures in the 50s in some locations. Temperatures warmed into the low 80s during the afternoon, with low humidity and a bit of a north to northeast breeze. Saturday night looks cool again, with lows in the low 50s in most locations, and a mostly clear sky.

Sunday looks mostly sunny with highs in the low to mid 80s. Humidity remains low, with no chance for rain and a north breeze of about 5 to 10 mph. Sunday night lows likely fall into the 50s easily again, with a clear sky. Our area remains mainly sunny and dry next week, with high temperatures approaching 90° Wednesday and Thursday. Longer-range models hint at at least a small chance for rain next weekend.
