Montgomery police are investigating two shootings that left a man and a juvenile male seriously injured.

Montgomery police Lt. Tina McGriff told Action 8 News that at around 11:18PM last night, officers were called to a hospital where a shooting victim was being treated. They found a juvenile male with a life-threatening gunshot wound. McGriff says the shooting happened in the 4000 block of Fitzpatrick Boulevard, which is just off of Virginia Loop Road near Fitzpatrick Elementary School.

She says the second shooting happened at about 11:52PM last night. Police were called to the 400 block of Chisolm Street, which is between Lower Wetumpka Road and Coliseum Boulevard, south of the Montgomery Zoo. That’s where officers found a man with a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital.

McGriff says there is no other information available about either shooting at this time.
