The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office has announced that its huge Halloween Spooktacular event will take place this year after all.

As Action 8 News has reported, the event was canceled earlier this month because of a scheduling conflict at Garrett Coliseum where it has been held for years.

Today, the sheriff’s office has announced that it will move to Paterson Field, at 1215 Madison Avenue.

The drive-through trunk-or-treat event will be held on Halloween starting at 5:30PM.

This event is hosted by Montgomery County Sheriff Derrick Cunningham and other leaders to provide a safe alternative to traditional door-to-door trick-or-treating.
