Thursday afternoon could be cloudless again across central and south Alabama. Abundant sunshine for the rest of the day may warm temperatures to near 90° in some locations. Thursday night looks mainly clear with lows in the upper 50s to low 60s. Some clouds mix with sunshine Friday, but our area remains rain-free. High temperatures range from the mid to upper 80s.
Saturday looks mainly dry, with a partly to mostly sunny sky. High temperatures range from the mid to upper 80s. Rain returns with some thunder along a cold front Sunday. We could get enough rain to make a dent in the ongoing drought in our area. Rain/thunder departs by late Sunday, then Monday looks mainly sunny, dry, and a bit cooler behind the cold front. Another front may produce a few showers late Tuesday into Wednesday.
