Pedestrian hit, injured in Montgomery

A pedestrian has been hit by a vehicle and seriously injured in Montgomery.

Montgomery police Lt. Tina McGriff told Action 8 News that officers were called to an area of Atlanta Highway near Coliseum Boulevard just before 4PM yesterday.

They found a man who had suffered life-threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.

McGriff said there was no other information available for release.
