Dave’s Hot Chicken national restaurant chain opens location in Montgomery

The national chicken restaurant chain “Dave’s Hot Chicken” has opened at EastChase in Montgomery.
The restaurant is in the former BurgerFi location between Chili’s and Texas Roadhouse.
Franchisee and COO Deryl Pangelinan says it means the world to them to open in Montgomery because they’ve been wanting to be here and love the energy in Montgomery.
He says what is unique is that the company’s business model is that they don’t build new buildings. They move into existing buildings because that building is already a part of the community.
“The atmosphere is different. There are no two Dave’s Hot Chicken in the entire world that’s going to have the same artwork. The artwork that’s in the lobbies, they are all tied to the community. Our chicken is the best chicken you’ll ever have, Nashville style hot chicken in seven different heat levels there’s a heat level for everybody — no spice all the way up to the reaper,” Pangelinan said.
Dave’s currently operates over 250 locations globally. Currently, the only location in Alabama is in Vestavia Hills, near Birmingham.
