Mainly dry through Saturday; Rain, some thunder Sunday morning

Some clouds were in the sky for a change Friday morning. However, there was still plenty of sunshine, and Friday afternoon remains partly to mostly sunny with no rain. High temperatures range from the mid to upper 80s, but could reach 90° in a few locations. Some clouds linger Friday night, and temperatures remain warmer, with lows in the low to mid 60s.

Saturday looks mainly dry with a partly to mostly sunny sky and high temperatures in the mid to upper 80s. We finally have a significant chance for early Sunday morning. Rain and some thunder works west to east through our area in advance of a cold front. Rain arrives in the westernmost part of our viewing area around 3AM, then departs the east Alabama around 10AM. Severe weather looks very unlikely in our area, but a couple stronger wind gusts may occur.

Sunshine may quickly return for late Sunday morning and Sunday afternoon. High temperatures range from the upper 70s to low and mid 80s. Colder air arrives behind the front Sunday night, with lows in the mid 40s to low 50s. Next week now looks dry with plenty of sunshine, especially Monday through Wednesday. Clouds may increase a bit late next week. Temperatures remain cooler, with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s, and lows at least in the 50s.
