Two minor children injured in Camden shooting, teen arrested

A Camden teen is behind bars tonight — suspected in a shooting that seriously injured two minor children.

Waka Minorsshot1017 SotvoSheriff Larry Colston says 17 year old Calvin Higginbottom, Jr. has been charged with three counts of attempted murder — and one count of shooting into an occupied vehicle.

The shooting happened Thursday night on the 600 block of Union Grove Road.

Colston says the nine and ten year old victims were shot when Higginbottom opened fire on a vehicle.

The shooting remains under investigation.
