Montgomery pedestrian killed in hit-and-run
Montgomery police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver.
Police say on Saturday, October 18, at about 4:57AM, they were called to the 4400 block of Troy Highway to a vehicle collision involving a pedestrian. At the scene, officers located the pedestrian, identified as 67-year-old Ephriam Bristow of Montgomery, who suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead.
Police say the driver fled before they arrived. There were no other injuries reported.
The investigation into this fatal crash is ongoing, and no further information is available for release, police said.
