Montgomery police make arrest in fatal shooting

Montgomery police have charged a suspect with a fatal shooting that happened in August.

Police say 39-year-old Kenyada Johnson is charged with murder in the killing of 32-year-old Kentaris Couch.

The shooting happened at around 7:15AM on August 4 in the 900 block of Charles Street. That’s where Couch was found with a fatal gunshot wound.

Johnson was arrested today by the U.S. Marshal’s Task Force and taken to the Montgomery County Detention Facility.
