A Decent Rain Event Late In The Weekend
Drought conditions continue across the area and parts of West Alabama remain under extreme drought. We need rain and there’s a good chance we see some decent rainfall over parts of our area this weekend.
A disturbance will be making a run at the state Sunday into early Monday. This system should bring us our next opportunity for rain activity. Rainfall potential will reach one inch in some spots. It will be the beginning of a slightly more active weather pattern that we ease into next week.
The long range outlook for Halloween Friday is looking mainly clear and cool. We should be on the backside of any rain activity. Another surge of cooler air will be flowing into the state setting the stage for cooler temperatures Halloween evening.
