Cloudy, Wind, And Wet Midweek
We have an active weather pattern in play this week. Another round of rain will be moving through and then a change to much cooler conditions later in the week. It’s looking like upper 30s will be possible for some areas Friday and Saturday morning. Our first real cold snap of the season is on the way!
In the meantime, we’re expecting cloudy, windy, and wet conditions tonight through early Thursday. The clouds will be stubborn and sunshine will be limited over the next few days. A southeasterly wind flow will set up and provide winds 8-16 mph with gust up to 25 Wednesday. This doesn’t look like a significant rainfall and most areas will only see a .50 or less as the system moves through early Wednesday into Thursday morning.
The later half of the work week will be clearing out and trending much cooler. Highs will continue in the 60s but overnight temps will drop into the upper 30s to lower 40s Friday and Saturday morning. There’s even the possibility of patchy frost in our northern most counties both mornings. Halloween is looking clear and cool with temps in the 50s during the evening hours.
Our weekend is setting up to be mainly sunny and cool. Daytime highs will reach the upper 60s to lower 70s. Overnight lows will come up as well and lower to mid 40s are likely Sunday morning. There are some indications another disturbance will try to send clouds and some rain our way early next week. It’s a ways out and confidence is low at this point. Stay tuned for updates.
