Drier, more clouds than sun through Thursday; Sunshine Halloween
Wednesday morning was gloomy and gray again, with rain in the mix this time. Most locations picked up between one-tenth and one-quarter of an inch of rain after midnight Tuesday night. However, by early Wednesday afternoon, the more widespread, steady rain moved to our east. Meanwhile, the clouds temporarily partially cleared, allowing for some sunshine. Although, Wednesday afternoon remains partly to mostly cloudy, cool, and breezy with highs in the low 60s.
Wednesday night looks mostly cloudy, cool, and breezy with lows in the upper 40s to low 50s. Thursday looks mostly cloudy with highs in the 50s to low 60s. The sky finally clears Thursday night, and temperatures turn quite cold, with lows in the upper 30s to low 40s. Halloween looks sunny and dry, with high temperatures in the upper 60s. Friday night lows range from the upper 30s to low 40s.
The weekend begins dry, but clouds may increase late Saturday. Models suggest low pressure develops near the gulf coast Sunday, and lingers into next week. That may result in more clouds, and some showers, especially Sunday through next Tuesday. It looks like our area dries back out Wednesday through Friday, with sunshine and seasonable temperatures for the rest of the week.
