Temps Dropping Into The 30s Soon
The rain has moved east but the clouds linger and will stick around through part of Thursday.  It’s wrap around moisture from the departing low pressure system that is also helping generate the gusty winds. The winds will relax Thursday night and that will allow temps to drop. We’re expecting upper 30s for some areas Friday and Saturday morning. Our first real cold snap of the season is on the way!
In the meantime, we’re expecting mostly cloudy and windy conditions tonight through early Thursday. The clouds will be stubborn and sunshine will be limited early Thursday. A westerly wind flow will produce 8-16 mph winds with gust up to 25 Thursday. Daytime temps will struggle and we’re only expecting highs in the upper 50s to lower 60s.
Friday will be clear and trending much cooler. Highs will continue in the 60s but overnight temps will drop into the upper 30s to lower 40s Friday and Saturday morning. There’s even the possibility of patchy frost in our northern most counties both mornings. Halloween is looking clear and cool with temps in the 50s during the evening hours.
Our weekend is setting up to be mainly sunny and cool. Daytime highs will reach the upper 60s to lower 70s. Overnight lows will come up as well and lower to mid 40s are likely Sunday morning.  There are some indications another disturbance will try to send clouds and some rain our way Sunday into early next week. Forecast model data isn’t clear cut at this point and so our confidence is low at this point. Stay tuned for updates.
