Two people injured in shooting on Carmichael Road in Montgomery

Montgomery police are investigating a shooting on Carmichael Road that left two people injured.

Montgomery police Lt. Tina McGriff told Action 8 News that officers were called at 7:36PM last night to the 5100 block of Carmichael Road, which is just inside the bypass.

McGriff said officers found a man with life-threatening injuries and a woman with non-life threatening injuries. They were both taken to the hospital for treatment.

She said no other information is available for release.
