Turning Colder With Patchy Frost Possible!

We’re on the backside of the rain and wind maker (low pressure system).  The winds will relax and temps will drop overnight.  We’re expecting upper 30s for some areas Friday and Saturday morning.  Patchy frost will be a threat for some areas.

A frost advisory has been issued for Marengo, Dallas, Perry, Chilton, and Coosa County from 3am until 9am Friday.  Those impacted may wanta take care of those tender plants.  The rest of Halloween Friday will be sunny and cool.  Temps will climb into the 60s highs but overnight temps will drop into the upper 30s to lower 40s  early Saturday morning.  There’s possibility of another round of patchy frost in our northern most counties.  Halloween evening is looking clear and cool with temps in the 50s during the Trick or Treating hours of 5pm to 8pm.

Our weekend is setting up to be partly cloudy with a slight mention of a shower Saturday night into early Sunday.  Daytime highs will reach the upper 60s to lower 70s.  Overnight lows will come up as well and lower to mid 40s are likely Sunday morning.

High pressure will be establishing itself over the region early next week.  This will provide a mainly sunny and dry weather pattern for most of the week.  Temps will warm nicely with highs in the lower to mid 70s and lows in the 40s and 50s.
