No tricks, just treats for children from the Montgomery Biscuits

The Montgomery Biscuits gave children an early start to their Halloween fun by hosting the 8th Annual Ballpark Trick or Treat at Riverwalk Stadium.

Last night, children got to dress up in their Halloween costumes and go trick or treating around the stadium.

More than 30 businesses and community organizations passed out candy to families. Guests could also enjoy hay rides across the baseball field.
“That’s our goal for this event is to provide a fun, safe atmosphere for families to come and go trick or treating, especially doing it the night before Halloween,” Montgomery Biscuits General Manager Mike Murphy told Action 8 News. “Getting a chance for people to wear those costumes one extra time and come out. But it’s always a goal for us to make sure that it is a safe  environment for families to come out.”
While candy was being handed out, canned goods were collected for the Heart of Alabama Food Bank.
