Cool again Saturday night, small chance for a few showers Sunday

Early Saturday morning was rather cold across central and south Alabama, with morning lows in the mid 30s in many locations. However, temperatures rebounded well into the 60s during the afternoon, with a fair amount of sunshine. However, clouds increased during the afternoon, and some remain in the mix Saturday night. Saturday night looks cool again, with lows in the low to mid 40s.

Sunday looks partly cloudy with high temperatures in the 60s to around 70°. A few showers appear possible during the afternoon as a front swings through our area. However, most locations remain dry, and measurable rain looks unlikely. The sky clear Sunday night, with cooler air behind the front sending low temperatures into the upper 30s to low 40s.

The first week of November looks mainly dry with abundant sunshine Monday through Friday. Temperatures look near-normal for early November in our area, with highs in the low to mid 70s and lows in the 40s. Another cold front may approach the southeast next weekend. It looks like that may result in some rain late Saturday into Sunday. After that, the early part of the following week looks dry with sunshine, and at least slightly cooler temperatures.
