Man recovering after shooting in Montgomery

A man is recovering after being shot in Montgomery early this morning.

Montgomery police Cpl. James Dozier told Action 8 News that officers were called to a hospital just before 2AM. That is where a man was receiving treatment for what’s believed to be a non-life threatening gunshot wound

Dozier said the shooting happened near the 2500 block of Fairground Road, which is near Federal Drive, several blocks sound of Garrett Coliseum.

He said there is no other information about the shooting available for release.
