One dead, one seriously hurt in Montgomery shooting

A shooting in Montgomery on Halloween night has left one person dead and another seriously hurt.

Montgomery police Cpl. James Dozier told Action 8 News that the shooting happened at about 10:34PM in the 3800 block of Haynes Lane. That is just off of Perry Hill Road.

Dozier said officers found a woman who was pronounced dead at the scene. He says a man suffered a life-threatening injury and was taken to a hospital.

Dozier said one victim appeared to suffer from self-inflicted gunshot wounds. He said at this time, the incident is believed to be domestic related.
