The Warming Trend Continues For Now

A rather quiet weather pattern will be hanging around here this week.  You will notice abundant sunshine along with temps warming each day.  We could even snag that 80 degree mark before the week is out.  Moisture will eventually work back into the area and we’re expecting our next chance for rain over the upcoming weekend.  Once the rain activity is gone, we’re facing some much colder air early next week!

For now, high pressure will be the main weather feature and that’s going to allow us a mainly clear sky.  Overnights will be chilly through midweek but daytime highs will manage mid to upper 70s each day.  Looks like a great week for any outdoor events or projects you may have lined up.

During the upcoming weekend, we will see our better chance for rain Friday night into early Saturday morning.  At this point, it doesn’t look like anything significant.  Most of the energy with the system generating the rain will pass well to our north.  A couple more boundaries will move through Saturday and Sunday but moisture will be limited.  It looks like we’re on the backside of  any rain activity late Sunday.  All indications are a rather cold air mass will invade the deep south Sunday night into Monday.   Temps may not even reach 60 Monday afternoon.  Tuesday could start out in the lower to mid 30s for parts of the area.
