What to see, taste at Central Alabama Fair in Selma
The 69th Annual Central Alabama Fair is underway this week in Selma, with rides, food, beauty pageants, exhibits and plenty of fun.
The Selma Lions Club puts on the fair each year. Proceeds go to help people who need eye exams and eyeglasses who can’t afford them. Vision care is a key mission of the Lions Club worldwide.
New additions to this year’s fair include a circus side show and a reptile exhibit in the petting zoo. The Midway has more than two dozen rides.
Admission is $6, with ride wristbands $25.
