Action 8’s Magical Christmas Toy Drive: The Shoppes at EastChase goes on shopping spree

Action 8’s Magical Christmas Toy Drive is underway, with officials from The Shoppes at EastChase going on a shopping spree to help fill up the toy vault.

Our Ellis Eskew and Lindsey Bonner helped The Shoppes at EastChase’s Richard Holman and Davonte Dumas shop for toys at the Walmart Supercenter on Chantilly Parkway.

They even had help from Santa and Mrs. Claus!

“It’s incredible. It’s incredible to be here today,” Holman said. “Incredible to be with everyone out here. Here we are again for our 7th year to be able to serve other people. We always say if everyone gives a little, we could help a whole lot of people. So we are blessed to be here today. Looking forward to finding some gifts for some kids. hoping for a great year for them!”

Action 8 has presented our Magical Christmas Toy Drive to benefit the Salvation Army of Montgomery for a dozen years. The toys that are collected will be distributed to registered families just in time for Christmas.

Once again this year, our Toy Vault is at the Shoppes at EastChase, to the left of Books-a-Million. In the weeks to come, that space will be filled with toys, thanks to our viewers and our sponsors.
