Juvenile killed in Montgomery shooting

Montgomery police are investigating a shooting that claimed the life of a juvenile.

Cpl. James Dozier tells Action 8 News that it happened just before 5 p.m. in the 3500 block of Fairground Road.

Once officers and fire medics arrived, they found a juvenile male with a life-threatening gunshot wound.

The unidentified male victim was pronounced dead on the scene.

No word on any suspects at this time.

This is the city’s 55th homicide of the year.
