ACTION 8 UPDATE: Man identified in Montgomery homicide
Montgomery police have released the identity of the man killed in the city’s latest shooting.
It happened around 6:20 p.m. Monday in the 100 block of Courtland Drive. That area is not far from W. Fairview Avenue.
Once officers arrived, they found 25-year-old Zekhiry Hooks, of Montgomery, dead from a gunshot wound.
This is the 56th homicide of the year.
