Jemison police need your help in locating a missing woman.

51-year-old Lashawn Nelms was last seen on November 4.

Police say Nelms left her mother’s home in Jemison to visit a friend in Gadsden, but never returned.

Her mother last heard from her via text on November 5, but has not seen or heard from her since.

Nelms is described as 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing approximately 180 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.

She was last seen driving a black 2019 Jeep Renegade with Georgia license plate CML431.

Investigators believe Nelms may be in or around the Gadsden, Vestavia, or Hoover areas.
