Showers, some storms Friday; Warm weather through the weekend
Thursday was a very warm day across central and south Alabama. So warm, in fact, that Montgomery set a new November 20th record high temperature of 84°. That broke the old record of 81° from 1900. While there was plenty of sunshine during the day, clouds increase somewhat Thursday night. Temperatures remain mild, with lows in the upper 50s to low 60s.
Friday looks mostly cloudy, with a chance for needed rain during the afternoon and evening. However, some locations may not get any. A few storms appear possible too. Friday night trends drier, but clouds linger with lows in the low 60s. Sunshine increases Saturday, with a minimal chance for rain. Temperatures warm to near 80° during the afternoon.
Saturday night looks cooler with lows in the low 50s. Sunday looks partly to mostly sunny and warm with highs in the mid to upper 70s. Sunday night lows fall into the upper 40s to low 50s. The week of Thanksgiving begins dry, but another front brings a chance for rain and maybe storms Tuesday and Wednesday. The holiday weekend could be dry after the front moves through, but likely cooler with highs in the 50s and 60s and lows in the 30s and 40s.
