Salvation Army of Montgomery kicks off red kettle campaign

The Salvation Army of Montgomery has officially kicked off its red kettle campaign.

The kickoff celebration took place Friday at the Sam’s Club in Montgomery.

This year’s fundraising goal is $200,000. All of the proceeds from the campaign go to help support services in 2026.

Donations help provide food, housing support, utility assistance and programs for children, families and seniors in the Montgomery area throughout the year.

From now until Christmas Eve, you can find volunteers at various locations across the River Region ringing those iconic bells.

If you don’t have cash or change, you can give online at MontgomeryKettle.org or by scanning the QR codes displayed at the red kettles.
