Birmingham teenager killed in car wreck in Chilton County
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is investigating after a Birmingham teenager died in car accident in Chilton County.
The single-vehicle crash happened around 8:33 p.m. Monday, November 24th on Interstate 65, about one mile north of Jemison, in Chilton County.
Troopers say the teenager died when the 2019 Acura RDX the teen was driving left the roadway and struck a tree. The teenager was not using a seat belt.
The victim’s name has not been released.
ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division continues to investigate.
