Cold Thanksgiving night, cool Friday, milder Saturday, rain Sunday
Thanksgiving started on a cold note, with morning low temperatures in the low to mid 30s in most locations. Even with an abundance of sunshine throughout the day, high temperatures were only in the low to mid 50s for most. Thanksgiving night looks cold again, with lows in the upper 20s to low 30s. Black Friday looks cool, with highs in the low to mid 50s. Clouds increase during the afternoon, but our area remains dry.
Saturday also looks dry and a bit milder with a mix of sun and clouds. High temperatures range from the low to mid 60s. Rain returns late Saturday night into Sunday as a cold front pushes into our area. The front moves to our south Sunday night, resulting in dry weather, but only for a short time. By late Monday, a developing low in the northern gulf brings more rain to central and south Alabama through early Tuesday.
Wednesday looks dry with sunshine. However, another low tracking across the northern gulf brings more rain to our area late Friday into early Saturday. Our area may trend drier and cooler with sunshine to close out next weekend.
