The Weekend Won’t Be A Washout

Our cloudy, wet, and cool weather pattern is hanging around and all indications are it’s lingers into the upcoming weekend.  We expect periods of rain to continue through Sunday night.  Rainfall will be generous and some spots could see an additional .50 to 1 inch of rainfall.

There will be a few more waves of rain to work through the area Saturday and Sunday.  Temps will only manage the 50s for highs and lows in the 40s.  It now looks like the last in a series of rain makers will pass through our area late Sunday night.

We’re expecting to be on the backside of the rain activity by Monday. High pressure will build over the deep south and we’re looking at a mainly sunny sky for the early half of the week.  A dry and still cool weather pattern will be in play through Tuesday but a brief warm up going into the mid and latter half of the week.
