Bright And Warmer Days Ahead This Week
The clouds continue to be rather stubborn and cover much of the area but we’re expecting them to begin breaking up tonight. Brighter and warmer days are ahead this week! We’re expecting highs in the mid 60s by midweek.
In the meantime, we go into the evening with a mostly cloudy sky. Temps will hover in the 40s but dropping overnight into the lower to mid 30s. High pressure will build in over the area and that will help provide us a mostly sunny sky Tuesday. Temps will manage the mid to upper 50s for highs. It’s looking even warmer with temps in the mid 60s by Wednesday afternoon. A frontal boundary will slide through here late Wednesday into Thursday. All indications are it passes through dry with a brief shot of colder air behind it. Friday starts out chilly in the mid 30s but with abundant sunshine temps will recover nicely into the mid 60s Friday afternoon.
Another frontal system will be making a run at the deep south over the upcoming weekend. Temps should warm into the mid 60s ahead of the boundary Saturday. We don’t expect a lot of moisture to move in with the front but we will include a chance for rain both days. We’re on the backside of the front Sunday afternoon. Another shot of cold air moves in and we’re around the freezing mark Monday morning. High pressure returns and sets the stage for sunny and dry conditions early next week. Temps will manage the mid 50s for highs and lows in the lower to mid 30s.
