Cool Thursday, warmer Friday, a chance for rain this weekend

The sky remains mostly sunny Thursday but temperatures stay cooler than Wednesday, with highs in the mid to upper 50s. Thursday night looks mainly clear and cold with lows in the 30s. Friday looks mostly sunny and warmer, with highs in the upper 60s. Saturday looks fairly warm, with highs near 70° despite increasing clouds, and a chance for showers during the afternoon.

Rain remains possible Saturday night as a cold front pushes into and through our area. Sunday looks dry, with a mix of sun and clouds. Temperatures turn colder during the day, and especially Sunday night. New model data suggest temperatures may fall into the 20s Sunday and Monday night. Meanwhile, high temperatures may only be in the low to mid 50s each day.

Next week begins mostly sunny and dry despite the colder temperatures. Cloud increase Wednesday, and depending on which model you look at, rain appears possible Thursday. Should a front work through our area around the end of next week, that could set up dry weather with sunshine next weekend. However, forecast certainty remains low for now beyond the middle of next week.
