Enjoy The Warmth While It Last!
We have a chilly overnight ahead but a quick warm up is in store for Friday. Temps will start out in the lower to mid 30s but rebound into the mid to upper 60s by afternoon. It’s a two day warm up that will be quickly replaced with bitter cold air late in the upcoming weekend. A blast of cold air is heading south and we’re gonna feel it with lows in the 20s Monday morning.
In the meantime, our sky will be clear and temps drop into the lower to mid 30s overnight. Friday starts out chilly in the mid 30s but with abundant sunshine temps will recover nicely into the mid to upper 60s Friday afternoon. The warmth continues and we’re approaching 70 degrees in a few spots Saturday. It’s ahead of a frontal boundary that could help spark a few showers as it works across our state Saturday night into early Sunday. Rainfall will be light and under a quarter of an inch.
We’re on the backside of the front early Sunday. Temps will be dropping throughout Sunday. Another shot of very cold air moves in and we’re in the lower to mid 20s Monday morning. The bitter cold will linger into Tuesday as well.  Temps start in the mid 20s but do reach the mid 50s by the afternoon. High pressure returns and sets the stage for sunny and dry conditions through Wednesday. Temps will be on a warming trend and we’re back in the lower 60s by Wednesday afternoon.  Another front approaches and we have the chance for some rain Thursday.
