Warming Center opens in Montgomery due to cold temperatures
The City of Montgomery has opened its warming center due to the cold temperatures that are expected.
The city opens the warming center when temperatures are forecasted to be below 32 degrees for four hours or more.
The warming center opened at 7PM tonight and will remain open until 7AM Tuesday. It’s scheduled to reopen at 7PM Tuesday night until 7AM Wednesday.
The warming center is located at The Crump Center, 1751 Congressman W.L. Dickinson Drive. Residents in need of shelter are welcomed during these times. No pets are allowed inside the warming center.
Tuesday and Wednesday, the M Transit System, Route 8 (Gunter Park/Eastdale Mall) bus is scheduled to arrive and depart from the Crump Senior Center at the following times:

Tuesday morning, December 30, 2025, the M Transit Route 8 (Gunter Park/Eastdale Mall) bus will return (Inbound) to the Crump Senior Center at about 6:30 AM and arrive at the Downtown Intermodal Center at 6:45 AM.
