A Milder Start To The New Year
We head into the new year with a warming trend getting underway. Looks like several days with temps climbing into the mid and upper 60s for highs. It won’t be all sunny and dry though. A frontal system is moving our way and we’re expecting some rain Friday into Saturday.  The system looks fairly tame as it moves through the area. There may be a few periods of brief heavy rain but we don’t see anything too strong with this system. Rainfall is expect to be light and most spots picking up less than a quarter of an inch. Looks like a little cooler air will move in behind the rain Saturday night into Sunday. Temps will drop off a bit but nothing like we experienced earlier in the week. High pressure will return and we’re back into full sunshine Sunday. There’s plenty more days of sunshine and temps warming nicely. We’re expecting mid to upper 60s for highs most of next week.
