3rd annual Interfaith Service held in Montgomery

Community members representing different faiths came together this weekend for the 3rd annual Interfaith Service.

People came out to Immanuel Presbyterian Church on Vaughn Road to hear speakers from all walks of life.

The speakers focused on creating a welcoming and uplifting environment through readings and music.

The theme for this year was hospitality and how religion calls us all to be there for one another. The program featured people of many faiths including Hinduism, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, and Baha’i.

In addition, the group collected travel-sized toiletries, washcloths, socks and snacks for Quiet Storm Outreach.
