Feeling like spring through Friday, rain/storms Friday night/Saturday
Low clouds and fog filled the sky early Wednesday morning, but by the afternoon, the sky was partly cloudy in many locations. Wednesday looks like another very warm January day, with highs in the mid to perhaps upper 70s. Low clouds and fog fill the sky again Wednesday night, while temperatures only fall into the 50s to low 60s.
Thursday looks partly cloudy with isolated showers, mainly during the afternoon. However, most of our area remains dry. Otherwise, Thursday looks like a partly to mostly cloudy and very warm day, with highs in the mid to upper 70s. Thursday night low temperatures may not fall much if at all below 60°. Friday also looks very warm, with a partly to mostly cloudy sky, and highs in the mid to upper 70s.
Much of Friday may remain dry, but rain and some storms eventually slide east in advance of a cold front, pushing into central and south Alabama Friday night. The front may move only slowly to the south and east, resulting in rain and storms lingering through part of Saturday. The front pushes through our area by Saturday night, bringing colder and drier air to our area for the rest of the weekend, and much of next week.
