Man shot on Madison Avenue in Montgomery

Montgomery police are investigating a shooting in downtown that left a man injured.

Montgomery police Lt. Tina McGriff told Action 8 News that the man was shot in the 1000 block of Madison Avenue yesterday afternoon around 4:30PM. She said his injuries are life-threatening, and he was taken to a hospital for treatment.

That location is near Cramton Bowl and Montgomery Municipal Court.
