Man injured in downtown Montgomery shooting

Montgomery police are investigating a shooting downtown that injured a man.

It happened around 10:25 p.m. Thursday in the 600 block of Madison Avenue. While Montgomery police does not release the identity of businesses, Action 8 News found bullet holes in the drive-thru window at Burger King.

Once officers arrived, they found an adult male victim with non-life threatening injuries from a gunshot wound.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

No word on suspects at this time.
