Suspect sought in theft of Home Depot rental truck in Opelika
Opelika police need your help finding a man suspected of stealing a Home Depot rental truck.
Police say the theft happened on October 12 at the Home Depot at Tiger Town. That’s the day that the truck was rented, with a return date of October 15. But the truck was never returned, and police launched their investigation November 7.
Today, they are putting out the call for the public’s help.
Police say the suspect used a fraudulent driver license and a stolen credit card to rent the truck.
They say surveillance video shows a man with facial hair wearing a black hat, black t-shirt, gray pants and Nike Air Ken Griffey Max 1 shoes.
