House catches fire on Charles Street in Montgomery
Montgomery firefighters have battled a house fire in the 4600 block of Charles Street.
District Fire Chief K.R. Peoples said the fire was reported at about 9:41AM yesterday.
People says upon arrival, crews observed moderate smoke coming from the single-story home. Firefighters made an interior attack, bringing the fire under control within 10 minutes.
Peoples says everyone had gotten out of the home before firefighters arrived. A dog was safely removed from the residence.
The Bureau of Investigations will determine the cause of the fire.
