Montgomery firefighters battle house fire on Carriage Oaks Drive

Montgomery firefighters have battled a house fire in the 3700 block of Carriage Oaks Drive.

District Fire Chief K.R. Peoples says the fire was reported around 4:06PM yesterday. When firefighters arrived, heavy smoke was coming from the home. The fire was coming from an attached storage room, they said.

Everyone in the home had left the home safely before the fire department’s arrival.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
