Cold, windy Thursday; Very cold Thursday night, but warmer Friday
Thursday afternoon remains sunny but cold and windy, with high temperatures in the mid 40s. However, wind chills remain in the 30s. Winds subside Thursday night, but with a clear sky, temperatures fall into the low to mid 20s. Although, temperatures rebound Friday, with highs near 60°. Friday also looks mainly sunny. However, another cold front arrives Friday night. Showers move through our area along the front, departing early Saturday.
Saturday looks partly to mostly sunny with highs in the 50s. Saturday nights looks interesting, as some models and individual model runs suggest a chance for frozen precipitation across mainly southeast Alabama through Sunday morning. Long story short, it might snow, or it might not. Uncertainty regarding temperatures, timing, and placement of weather features and precipitation cast uncertainty on our forecast.
