Alabama Shakespeare Festival Kicks Off 2026 Season With Two New Productions

World-class theater is returning to the Alabama Shakespeare Festival with the launch of its 2026 season, featuring two new productions opening later this month.

ASF Artistic Director Quin Gresham recently spoke with Action 8 News anchor Estee Morrison about the upcoming season and the performances set to take the stage in Montgomery.

“The Lehman Trilogy,” an epic drama chronicling the rise and fall of a financial dynasty, will run from Jan. 29 through Feb. 15. The production explores the history of the Lehman family and the firm they built, which played a significant role in global finance.

Also debuting this season is “Unforgettable: John-Mark McGaha Sings Nat King Cole,” a musical tribute honoring the legendary singer and pianist. The show will run from Feb. 12 through Feb. 15 and features McGaha performing some of Cole’s most beloved songs.

Tickets are available at ASF.net.
